His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Altamimi is Governor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Emergency Management Authority, Acting CEO of the Saudi Space Agency (SSA), as well as Vice Chairman of the board for NEO Space Group. Recognized as an expert on regulation governance, privatization and competition economics, and telecommunications and cloud computing, H.E. Dr. Al-Tamimi has been instrumental to evolving regulation for the Kingdom’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector.

As the CEO of the Saudi Space Agency, H.E. Dr. Altamimi plays a crucial role in advancing the Kingdom's space ambitions. His leadership is instrumental in guiding the Agency's strategic initiatives. . His efforts are vital to positioning Saudi Arabia as a key player in the global space community. H.E. serves as Deputy Chair of a research group at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and is a member of the Arbitration Committee of the European Telecommunication Networks Innovation Forum.

Holding a Doctorate in Telecommunications Regulation Economics from the University of Pittsburg, H.E. Dr. Altamimi is an alumnus of globally notable academic institutions. H.E. received his Master’s in Telecommunications and Technology Policy from the University of Strathclyde and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
